  • They are added to a “New Leads” segment inside my CRM (I use Mautic, but this works in most systems).

That segment is the trigger. It launches the first automated drip sequence designed to build trust and engagement, in order to Nurture Leads.


✉️ Step 2: Drip Campaign #1 — New Leads (4 Emails)

This first email series is all about education, trust, and soft selling.

Here’s the structure:

  • Email 1: Delivers the magnet and reminds them of the core problem it solves.
  • Email 2: Shows social proof or case studies to build authority.
  • Email 3: Introduces more pain points and potential results.
  • Email 4: Softly presents our service with a clear CTA to learn more or book a call.

📊 Behavior Triggers:

  • Opened an email? → Moved to Warmup Segment.
  • Clicked a CTA? → Tagged as a Hot Lead.
  • No interaction? → Stay in the segment until the sequence ends.

🔥 Step 3: Warmup Campaign (3 Emails)

If a lead opens anything in the first campaign, they’re pushed into the Warmup segment — where things get a little deeper so we can Nurture Leads more.

Structure:

  • Email 1: Real-world transformation story or client win.
  • Email 2: Answer common objections or doubts.
  • Email 3: Direct CTA to book a call — with urgency.

Again, we’re watching behavior:

  • Book a call? → Moved to Close Win pipeline.
  • Still cold? → Sent to the Cold Lead segment for future nurture.

Some leads engage but don’t convert. That’s what this short campaign is for.

Only sent to warm leads who haven’t booked:

  • Email 1: Strong reminder with urgency (“Act now before this closes”).
  • Email 2: Adds scarcity, benefits recap, and another call booking CTA.

🔥 Cold vs Hot Leads: Smart Tagging

  • Cold Leads: Enter a re-engagement or long-term nurture flow.
  • Hot Leads (clicked CTAs): Tagged for priority targeting in future campaigns (ads, emails, manual outreach, etc).
